At the World Superyacht Awards 2023, held on May 20 at the Sultan’s majestic Ciragan Palace in Istanbul, MY ACE was awarded the Judges’ Commendation in the displacement motor yachts below 500GT, from 40M to 44.9M category. The judges commented on the “generous size and practicality of her well-laid-out deck spaces, while also admiring her interior design”.

Built from the owner’s dream, we provided a bespoke advisory and project management consultancy to assist him through each step of this journey. The result is an “ACE” that exceeded the owner’s expectations!

We are proud to have taken part in the development of ACE since the very beginning as the Owner’s Pre-purchase Advisor and Representative in the 9-month selection process of the project team, definition and development of the preliminary project and technical specification, up to the negotiation and closing of the Yacht Construction Contract working along with the client’s legal advisor.

During this period, we guided our client thorough out the whole process by introducing him to potential builders and designers that in our experience could meet the Owner’s expectations and requirements for his final selection. By attending the major yacht shows around the world from Cannes, through Monaco to Miami and Palm Beach, we showed the client the quality each player within the building industry could deliver and various yacht layouts helping him further develop his vision for his future superyacht.

After the contract, we managed the executive project design, engineering and construction as the owner’s project manager and representative up to the completion of the yacht by monitoring the project’s progress and supervising each construction stage, ensuring its compliance with the contract and reporting the progress to the client.

Thanks to an expert advisory and management of the project combined with a deep knowledge of the construction process of a fully customized yacht, the final result turned out to be very successful for the team and ended up even exceeding the expectations of the client. The second hull and sister ship of MY ACE has already been sold and construction is in progress.
